My work embraces a sensitive approach to the subjects portrayed, trying to capture the magic raw of youth culture. They are not merely captured but rather transported into a story-telling, through the prism of their feelings, gazes and identities.
This personal project explore spontaneous, personal photographs of friends and people I’ve met. Joyful and nostalgic moments. There’s something very emotional about memories, and also about movies and music who deeply influenced my aesthetic vision, so my work mostly comes from that.
This work comes from a desire to capture intimate moments between lovers in all the different kinds of relationships. Every portrait trys to communicate a strong connection with the subject and the scenery. All the strength, insecurity, melancholy, sexuality and love that seemed so everlasting at the time, are captured forever.
